Again, doesn't matter what "the math says" in most games, because the standards are different for each game. You can't kill yourself in every shooter, so using suicides as an excuse for going negative or breaking even doesn't always work. If you applied the same logic to a racing game it wouldn't work either. If you won 50% of your races and lost 50%, you wouldn't be considered a good player or even average. If you have a 50% batting average in Baseball, you're garbage. If you hit only 50% of you're free throws in basketball, you're garbage. My original point is that, 1.0 is average in Destiny, but that's not acceptable in most other games.

  • Oh my god you're thick. In any shooter ever, if you can't kill yourself, the average KD is 1. Period. Doesn't matter what you think. That is the average and it has nothing to do with anything else. Let's take baseball. If you win 50% of your games, your team did fine, but not you aren't going to the playoffs. If you bat .500, you are a god among men. If you pitch and have a 50/50 win/loss stat, your average. Averages have nothing to do with being good. They are the average. Every single baseball player has a "below average" "hit to out ratio". It's just the game. But that doesn't mean all of them are below average players. In shooters, and even racing games, if you win the same amount as you lose, or kill the same as you die, you are statistically average. I don't care if you think cod players with a 1.3 KD are junk. Your opinion doesn't change the fact that they are above the average. If you aren't in school, you should go back. If you are, you should study more. That's the beauty of math. Facts are facts regardless of what your opinion of them is.

Cool rant bro. You're the one intentionally being dense here. I don't care what your opinion on math is kiddo, nobody does. And I don't even play CoD anymore, so nice rob ranting about that for no reason. Your "1.0 is average" logic simply doesn't fly outside of Destiny. But keep telling yourself you're good for breaking even, it seems like you need the confidence boost. Also facts are things which are proven with science (not false math). There is no science that can prove one's skill in a videogame. Any further argument you attempt to make will be invalid. Also you couldn't be more wrong about racing games. 50% win/loss is bad, especially if you boil it down to first place as a win and anything else as a loss.

  • Lol, okay. Let's break this down so you'll get it. In a racing game, let's say there are six cars, like SRL. The average place finish is mathematically 3.5, so sometimes third sometimes fourth. Winning and losing has nothing to do with it. If you consistently come in 3, you are above average since you have never dropped below. Someone has to come in 4,5, and 6 though. So the average never changes. But I would not call you a good racer for always placing third. In any shooter ever, there are only two stats in a KD ratio. Kills and deaths. CoD, BF, CS, UT, anything. For all players the average is 1.0 (not counting suicides). This does not make you good, it makes you average. What aren't you getting? If someone has a 1.5 here, it is the same statistically as a 1.5 in any other shooter. Maybe that number represents a different skill level based on other game mechanics, but it is the same mathematically. You think math is not fact? Yeah you're 17 all right. Gotta be. That's the demographic that uses "kiddo" when they can't admit they were wrong. Next you'll tell me how bad your odds of winning the lottery are now that so many people have tickets. Stay in school.

Another cool story, but it needs a dragon. Everything is better with dragons.
As stated before no further attempts at trying to "prove" a "fact" with "math" will be acknowledged. I'm sure there's a chess club at a university near you that would be super impressed with your basic math skills. You should go be with your fellow brethren.
Also you obviously don't know how the lottery works.

  • Shhh shh there buddy. You'll feel better after a nap. Go ahead and have a little mute before bed. Maybe in the morning you'll figure out the difference between fact and opinion. Until then, dream of those dragons.

Sure take the easy way out when you know you're wrong. Thanks for all your salty tears kid. Way to go, you wasted half a day arguing with yourself over literally nothing. My original post was one sentence long and you ranted this much over it? Congratz, you've won idiot of the day. I know you'll come back for more after claiming to mute me, so when you do, please explain to me how you plan to win the lottery. Good luck, and until then keep dreaming of winning the lotto kid, you're gonna need it.
