As stunning as the super is, the sunbreaker still isn't breaking any huge ground in the rankings for kills. Yeah we are doing ok in the super department but the rest of the subclass falls slightly behind. I say leave it like it is for at least a few more months to see the results.
As it stands, nightstalkers are taking the top rankings in all categories. Perhaps this shows us we should be scrutinizing a different subclass altogether.

The Titan has a Viking funeral melee and it regenerates your health along with grenade kills. They also have the best and fastest jump.

Edited by Fenderslasher: 10/17/2015 7:48:22 PMThose are fantastic arguments? Just like the Hunter has target tracking, increased sprint speed, dodge rolls, etc. telling me how we are different 1/ informs me of something I already know and 2/ does not solve the problem. We are all different, get used to it. My point is that nightstalkers are outperforming the class in every category including super kills, go see the rankings at destinytracker ( they control for population so don't pipe up with "there are more hunters, duh"). So clearly the nightstalkers unique shit is better and should be the attention of our nerfing concerns.

We also have the poorest melee range anyway. You have to be right next to them to even graze them.

And where do you get your numbers from? Or are you just spouting generalizations without actually looking into what you're talking about? The titan has one of the original gunslinger grenades, with one key difference... When the gunslinger uses it it does not kill another with just the nade alone, it only brings their health down. When a titan uses it, it has the ability to kill the enemy player without any other damage received but the nade. With the right perk equipped titans can one hit melee (not the super perk but just a regular melee) New hunter nades only work when the target stays in one place. AoE. The "melee" does not do nearly as much damage as any of the other sub classes. The tether is delayed sightly as it hits it's target (the effect takes time to tether so more often than not I'm killed waiting for my target to be tethered.

Didn't even read past your opening question. It's all at destinytracker.com go help yourself. I don't care for you shouting how this and that have these nuances and therefor this. The rankings tell all. Even if we adjust for population control we see that nightstalkers have the kills of almost the sunbreaker and stormcaller combined, and that says a whole lot more to me than some argument about how this or that works.

How long ago did you take those stats? Did you take the newest shadow shot glitch into account? Are you looking at all stats or pvp exclusively?

Edited by Fenderslasher: 10/17/2015 7:51:31 PMAbout 5 days ago, which is why I can't be too specific. And yes I realize the glitch is a thing that happened and I haven't even been back to see the latest results on that but I'm sure it will only increase the gap that we saw before. Go check it out, ask yourself these questions and get the answers I don't have them all for you. Personally, every time glitch happens I take a hiatus while people go to raving about the definition of cheating and how it's ok, etc etc. I'll be back when it's fixed, as per usual.

Edited by Fenderslasher: 10/17/2015 7:54:23 PMIt's real easy to scrutinize when you yourself offer nothing constructive to the observations. It's not my job to inform you of the statistics or put it under your nose and then explain it to you. Some nonsense about how the tether deploys late doesn't discredit the fact that their supers make more kills than the hammer. If it didn't delay it would obviously be worse (this is probably why it does not)
