With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • Nothing should be done. Warlocks have OP stormtrance, hunters have arc blade and titans have the hammer. People who main warlock or hunter dont realise that their supers make us rage too they just think we get the OP stuff. But its fine theres nothing too OP about it. It may even get u 0 kills in crucible in some situations. The infinite hammer glitch was fixed and thats fine. The hunter infinite bow glitch is gonna get fixed soon and thats also fine. These little glitches can get fixed but dont take the whole thing down because u think its good.

    • Allow GG to one shot it because that seems to be the hunters problem with it. They want to one shot everything and don't like it when they can't kill you in one hit.

    • My main is titan but I have level 40 in all classes. I get killed in sunbreaker all the time and I totally shut them down when in my night stalker.

    • Slow the health regeneration down after each kill ,don't remove it just slow it down

    • A slight decrease in health so that GG will 1 shot it. Or GG needs a slight increase in damage

    • I think that Sunbreakers' Cauterize perk needs a cool down timer such as The Ram has. The overall blast radius of Hammer of Sol needs to be reduced. Movement speed should be reduced to give players a choice between tracking or Fleetfire. Golden Gun needs another buff to damage so that it can one-shot.

      • Fix cauterise or drop the armour to where a golden gun/high impact snipers can kill with a headshot(or just increase headshot multiplier or decrease armour for headshots maybe?)

      • No health regen from kills because it already has bulk health

      • Maybe instead of triggering health regeneration, cauterize should just add a chunk of health and not trigger regen

        • I only use the hammer on patrol or at court of oryx. In strikes and raids I use my bubble because that's what titans do protect and buff our teammates and make orbs.

            I main a hunter so I personally think the sunbreakers time should slightly be reduced or add half a second to summoning another hammer. But if nothing changes that is fine I will just continue to do what I do currently when challenging a sunbreaker which is either charge in head first with shotty hoping that the explosion from the hammer strike does enough damage to him/her after I pump a shell into him or run and hide till the super goes away.

            I think the super should be nerfed slightly, and their neutral game buffed slightly. Everyone wants to talk about an OP super, and nobody cares about the Nightstalker's OP neutral game, which arguably nets more kills. That enemy tracking system is bonkers. Ridiculously useful. Not to mention enhanced radar - which helps immensely given the game's at times confusing radar system. Not to mention smoke bombs and zoning ability with the wall grenade. Just an extremely strong subclass as a whole - and I like that! It's a good trade off, considering their super isn't nearly as "go to town" as the hammer of Sol is. Nightstalker currently sits at highest KD out of all subclasses. I think there's a reason for this, even if the recent glitch may skew these results slightly. Their neutral setup is the strongest in the game, and you don't have your super WAY MORE than you do. So as it stands I don't think any subclass should be adjusted. I like the way they're set up. I don't want Nightstalker's neutral game to be nerfed. And I don't want the Sunbreakers super to be nerfed. But if it means peace (at least a little) in the forums, nerf the Sunbreakers super, but don't kill it completely. Last point - if all supers were removed would you want to use Sunbreaker? Heck no. I think that speaks very loudly to the subclass as a whole.

          • The main complaint is that we can take a GG shot. Buff Golden Gun to compensate and leave Sunbreakers alone. NO SNIPER SHOULD BE ABLE TO ONE HIT SOMEONE OUT OF A SUPER. That is why they are supers. To, well, be super. Buff all supers to take two headshots from snipers and let them cancel each other out head to head.

            • It doesn't need to be nerfed at all..... Most players can use jumps to avoid hammers.... Countless times I've struggled to hit jumping players is unreal..... Couple this up with having a limit/time with them and you could in theory waste them all, whilst unlikely, normally it's about a third or so. I play all classes, so don't think I'm being biased here, but there is no way to avoid a golden gun..... What makes hammers more powerful than other supers? It's getting pathetic with the amount of crying now. I'm either gonna get likes or dislikes, and truth be told I don't care. Man up and deal with it.

            • I don't think anything needs to be done, see the thing is, the whole class feeds into the super without it we have nothing (excluding fusion grenades) to the class. Its the only class in the game that revolves around the super because all the mods (mostly are for the super) if it's nerfed then titans will once again be given the shaft.

              • Just reduce splash damage. Make us be more accurate with the hammers. Would decrease amount of hammers being thrown cause people would hold off till they get a decent throw.

              • As a titan, i think it would be abit more balanced if move speed and jump were severely reduced, making you more of a slow moving tank rather than just flying round the map nuking everyone
