You say I can play every mission. What about Skoriks, the Archon Slayer? Yes, it was a little turdlet, but it was a mission I can no longer play (nor someone who owns TTK for that matter). Beyond that, I can't start a new character and power level by choosing heroic modes (again, neither can a TTK owner). I can't run dragon strikes for drops, or XP or Vanguard Marks, or farming glitter, or anything else. It's now impossible for me to find a Comedian, or a Secret Handshake, or a Party Crasher. TTK owners can't do any of those things, either...BUT they can run new versions of the strikes, and they can run daily/weekly/whatever for power levelling and Legendary Marks, and they can find (or purchase from a vendor) whatever new shotgun Destiny has available, and use it. Of course they took away content. They took content away from everyone. It's just that they have left a gaping hole for those of us who don't wish to plunk down $40 every four to six months, versus replacing it with new content for those who do. ...and here's the thing. They are entitled to do so. I agreed to the T&C, which specifically states they can remove features, content or what the hell ever they want. The artificial level cap...wellllll, that's a little more gray. Legally, sure, it's "new". Ethically, it's a shit thing to do to someone who has given them $95...especially since they had established precedence (twice) that level caps are raised for everyone. What that means is, I can no longer trust Bungie (or possibly Activision...though, surprisingly, this particular issue seems to be all Bungie). So will I give them $40 more? No. I won't be giving them anything more...not even if it goes on sale for $5, because they'll just do the same thing again next time. I will stop playing the game that I loved because it has become a game in which I can no longer invest myself. I will go and change all my reviews from 4 stars to 1. I will advise people either to not "purchase" a Bungie game for the reasons I've outlined, or to expect this same behavior in the future. And I will complain on forums. Those are *my* entitlements. If you are willing to accept this behavior, and are still willing to give them the $40 (or the $25 or however much for the next expansion), then more power to you. You're absolutely welcome to do that. You'll be going in fully aware of the situation. I had an expectation that was different based on previous behavior for the game (I didn't buy the game until after TDB was released and I didn't buy the expansion pass until after HoW was released). I got burned by those expectations, but this is exactly why I don't pre-order content. It didn't save me the $95 (I would never have "bought" the game had I known), but it did save me the $40.
