- You can't play strikes above level 20
- You can't specifically play Control,
- You can't specifically play Clash
- You can't specifically play Skirmish
- You can't specifically play Salvage
- You can't specifically play Rumble
- You can't play any story missions that you pick above their original level (i.e. A level 3 story mission cannot be dialed up to a level 20 or 32)
- It looks like there are no Weekly or Daily Strikes for anyone, but expect not to be able to play any of those either once next weeks reset rolls around
- *You can't play Trials when that comes around
- *You can't play Iron Banner when that comes around

Exactly. Like the OP said you are missing out on features, not content. If you don't like the game then stop playing. If you really want to play all the features then buy the expansion. Pretty simple really.
-
Not really interested in buying what was available last week again. I'm not a defeatist. If i don't like how a company treats their customers, I'll speak against it. I like destiny. I don't like corporate muscling. This is setting a very bad precedent. If you don't mind it, cool. There are plenty of people who will fight against on your behalf.

Subclasses raid strikes new enemies weapons quest crucible game modes? It's not $40 for old content its $40 for new content and to stay relevant in an ever expanding game
-
Edited by Kweh: 9/17/2015 7:06:33 PM40 bucks will unlock the story on hard I was playing last week, will it not? Because it's gone now. They even took away the easy, normal, hard settings in the original campaign. The rocs are gone, the level 25 strike list that has been reduced to level 20? That doesn't give you any drops now? Gone. I can't choose my pvp mode of choice. Gone. Why do I have to play Rumble just to play Clash. Right to choose? Gone. I'm sorry man but this is just ridiculous.
-
Message me on xbox live. There is a way to get ttk for 20 dollars.
-
I think you're taking this a little too seriously. It's a video game. Don't like what the developers are doing? Then don't play and stop buying their games. But please don't come on here and act like you're some kind of hero because you are bitching in a forum.
-
Edited by Kweh: 9/17/2015 6:53:08 PMBitching? Your reading comprehension is lacking. I did stop buying their game. I will still hold them accountable for their actions. I don't care about how you feel about it. I'm not a hero, nor did I act like one. You really need better comprehension if that's what you got from this.
-
I know you think you're making a difference, but you're not. Stop flooding the forums with whiny bullshit and move on to something else. Do us all a favor.
-
-
No. You're on a feedback forum complaining about feedback. Get over yourself. I know you think you are helping this forum, but please do us a favor. Get out of the feedback forum if you don't like the feedback. Move on.
-
Do the words "features are not content" mean anything to you? You're not going to be able to play the end game if you don't have the latest expansion. It's common -blam!-ing sense.
-
Wow you're an idiot. If you want to give feedback go to #feedback.
-
Also, I didn't make this thread to oppose a point if view so shouldn't you tell the op to move it instead? He's the one that brought it here
-
Damn you're numb.
-
Because I disagree? Ok buddy. I'm just going to mute you now. You have no information worth my time.
-
Nope. Bungie gives me the right to be here. You have no say in the matter. Just mute me if it bothers you so dang much.
-
-
You have no argument on the weekly and daily stuff. That's end game content. If you can't reach the maximum light level you can't play end game content period.
-
Yes he does. It only shoulf be locked based on the mission.
-
No it's end game material. He has no right doing end game content when he doesn't have the expansion
-
You are so funny. It is not end game.
-
That is what end game content is defined as, events you can play when you reach the end of leveling and campaign. If you don't have ttk then you can't lvl or finish the campaign so no end game for you. Also what is your motivation for playing right now? If you are invested enough to play the game for over a year but are avidly against the ttk why?
-
I don't but my young son does. He does not understand why he can not play the same features as Monday. He could with the prior 2 dlcs missing.
-
How is it not end game? Give me an argument why it's not end game? It's light level recommend is above what you can achieve without ttk and the rewards are end game tier rewards. So if you can tell me otherwise I'll just assume you're a 12 year old kid and your parents won't get you the game

http://kotaku.com/destiny-the-taken-king-leaves-old-players-behind-1731460036 Read this for all you fan boys. "As it turns out, The Taken King doesn’t just add a ton of excellent new stuff to Bungie’s ambitious MMO-shooter—it also locks out much of the old content both in PVE and PVP.
