99% of the time you would be correct, but given that Destiny is an expansion based game you are not correct in this case.
WoW, Diablo, SWTOR, etc etc all work this way.
The new expansion comes out
The new content is featured
The features that were previously available now feature that new content instead of the old.
An expansion based game is a service. They provide a constant changing environment for their players and in return for that change the players have to keep up with that changing content or they are left behind.
Except WoW even charges a monthly fee on top of the expansion itself.
99% of the time you would be correct, but given that Destiny is an expansion based game you are not correct in this case.
This is called "Special Pleading" and it's a logical fallacy. And it's funny you bring WoW into the conversation because when they release an Expansion pack, they don't remove features from people that don't buy it. People, for example, can still use dungeon finders and still play the hard mode for dungeons, etc. PS: I have TTK and it's rather silly to play this game and not buy the DLC because it is constantly changing. I'm just playing devil's advocate.
