Yes but you did not PAY for those features.
You paid for the content that was altered or affected by those features.
They now include the latest content.
Content that you have not paid for.
Therefore you cannot access them.

lol, I love how you try and break things apart into features and content. So, if Bungie decides to take away PvP from the game, but you still have access to the maps. You can load a map and walk around in it - thus as you call it, the content is still there - but you can't actually have PvP matches, you would think this is ok? This is basically what you are telling everyone. They still have access to the Missions, Strikes, MP Maps, but Bungie hasn't done anything wrong by taking away all the variable ways to use them, because they still have access to them. The fact is, people can no longer play the game like they were able to when it was purchased, they have legitimate complaints. If I was to go out and buy the game, plus all the expansions, not including TTK, I could not play the game the same as everyone else was able to play the game for the first 12 months - that's BS.

You pay for the entire package . . . features and content. It was a part of their original marketing campaign when they sold the game to people a year ago. When you sell software to people, you are selling them features and content, not just content. . .

WoW, Diablo, SWTOR, etc etc all work this way. The new expansion comes out The new content is featured The features that were previously available now feature that new content instead of the old. An expansion based game is a [i]service[/i]. They provide a constant changing environment for their players and in return for that change the players have to keep up with that changing content or they are left behind. Except WoW even charges a monthly fee on top of the expansion itself.

And it's funny you bring WoW into the conversation because when they release an Expansion pack, they don't remove features from people that don't buy it. People, for example, can still use dungeon finders and still play the hard mode for dungeons, etc. PS: I have TTK and it's rather silly to play this game and not buy the DLC because it is constantly changing. I'm just playing devil's advocate.
