3 months. Fine. Doesn't matter. As I stated in another post. Destiny has MMO aspects. The aspects are being embraced more and more as expansion are released. Nightfalls, Weeklies and Dailies are endgame content. On MOST MMO style games, endgame content moves along as expansions are released. You still have your base game and featured items like a Raid that is locked to that certain part or expansion of the game. Destiny is not a full MMO, but is basically a subscription based model hence new expansions more frequent than an actual MMO game. People that bought Vanilla Destiny, got to do what they need for their "3 MONTHS".
What I don't understand is when this game was released, people knew about the expansions, people knew Bungie had a 10 year plan and these people should have know that this is a progress driven game. If you stopped after Vanilla Destiny, then the game is over. No point to play this anymore since you are not continually paying for the new content and new endgame.
This subscription based style games with moving endgame has been around for decades. Not just this game.
