Dude, you're full of shit. You can try to use any semantics you want, the the facts are they have less content then before.

You are being far to pedantic on your semantics.

Edited by The New Monarch: 9/16/2015 4:01:46 PMI've argued this enough today...so let's take a different approach. What's the point in playing a game like Destiny if you aren't going to follow the model (not the only game that operates this way) and continue to play along with the new stuff? I mean, if you're playing with friends they're going to move on...if you're excited about getting gear than you should want to get the new content because there's tons of new gear...if you like PvP it's only getting better with new modes and maps. Unless you really love playing old content for years I don't understand why you wouldn't buy The Taken King...especially if you like Destiny.
-
I don't think it's right. Look, I'm buying TTK, but the people who can't right now or won't be buying shouldn't be punished. They already paid $100. I think the exact same content available to them before should still be there. It doesn't make sense they can't do a ROC strike or a 32 nightfall.
-
this is the same bitching everyone did when dark below and house of wolves came out it just gets old if people are so mad about it then stop playing
-
Question, lets say you have the money for TTK and you choose to not buy the expansion, why would you care to even play the game at that point?
-
No you are full of shit. You have the same amount of content you did before TTK you just don't get any of the new content. You are an idiot.
-
Look idiot, playing a level 20 legacy strike is not the same as a nightfall, unless of course you think playing basketball with 4th graders is the same as playing with men. Speaking of 4th grade, mommies calling you. Time for your cheerios and school.
-
I'm actually in 9th grade you squeaking little baby. But don't worry mommies coming to pick you up from daycare.
-
9th or 4th, same to me. Your frontal lobe isn't even fully developed , you are incapable of seeing their side of things. So let's leave it there and stop.
-
-
They have more content than they did before, actually. You can argue semantics all you want. But that's a fact. 4 free levels, new equipment only introduced by 3 expansions... They're net positive, in a big way.
-
They didn't want any of that, they didn't ask for any of that. they want the same game they paid for, and had before. We can argue the fine print in bungies term of service, that's not going to help the people.power to the people.
-
the facts are they have less content then before.
They do not. They have more. More content funded by those that bought expansions. Power to the people alright. Boot all these freeloaders entirely!
-
Hey, bitches are all the same, y'all like gettin fvcked.
-
just saying even if you kept all your "content: you think you lost....no one will play with you. why do VOG or POE anymore? if you dont buy the new stuff you get left behind with the old stuff. simple.
-
What do you mean there won't be anyone to play with? Look how many people are complaining on this site alone. There are probably millions of players who have neither yet purchased or will not purchase for various reasons. They should have the exact same functions they had before, they can be playing with each other.
-
same as with dark below and house of wolves. everyone bitches just to bitch then ends up getting it to play with friends. if you dont then you never really liked destiny anyways. this update is well worth it and makes destiny the way it should have been day one.
-
So go find them and clear VOG or CE for your exotic rolls then. You're all acting like the nightfall and weeklies are the sole source of strange coins and exotic rolls. How about that free content though, whose complaining that Bungie took away their strike content by swapping some enemies with Taken? Hmm, no complaints about the free stuff I guess.
-
I'm not complaining. If I want it, I will just buy it, which I probably will when I have a little more time . I'm sticking up for us, that's you included, you just don't realize it. We are on the same side, it's like this, You give these corporations an inch, trust me, they'll take the yard.
-
you act like this is a new thing. you want more stuff for free. $40 is worth the hours of entertainment you get out of this game update
-
I'll tell you one last time. I'm buying ttk, this weekend. Nobody wants anything free. I want the players that paid $100 for the original disc, tdb, and how to have everything they already had before ttk dropped. No more, no less.
-
We don't have less content as no content was removed that we payed for. We still have access to everything but it's just the options on how to play that content that has changed. I agree about the endgame being pushed up to coincide with the new expansion as that is what every game does and that is how it will always be. The main issues that I have found is there is no longer multi difficulty strikes and missions, vendors are now useless to those who don't have TTK and crucible will have more people that have access to the higher gear from TTK which could lead to balance issues. Other than that they have not taken away content as the OP stated and I have no problem with endgame getting pushed back however there could at least include options to those who have not purchased to at least increase the replay value instead of limiting.
-
Smh did you even read the post?
-
There is a difference between semantics and logic just for a heads up
-
Yes. Your logic is a level 20 legacy strike is the same as doing a nightfall.
