I think i can sum up what he said in a nicer way. I think he just wants you to be more sensitive and aware that $40 may seem small to you but even that amount of money can save a family. Some families are lucky to get that kind of entertainment for their children and just want them to be happy. $40 can go a long way. I dont think its a nice thing to tell people "its [u]only[/u] $40/ stop complaining/ give up the money, its not that much". Understand? [spoiler]this post is meant to be taken in a soft tone. I study full-time and and only get 280 from the government to study. I can't get work due to living in a high unemployment area and the closest place to get work at is 40min away and the only available work for someone like me is security which costs 500+ for a licence. After all essential bills and food is paid for I get left with $50 each pay. In Australia it costs $70 for TTK from the store and while $40 is nothing to some people in other countries, $70 is alot for those of us who low income due to various circumstances. For me and alot of other people I know who study and have courses, bills and travel expenses to pay for every cent counts. I do agree that content hasn't been taken away but it has been locked for example strikes used to have multiple difficulties through both expansions however with TTK there is no longer that option and the strongest enemies are in PoE at lvl 28. Also crucible players who have access to TTK have better access to gear and weapons which can give an advantage at higher levels. Eventually I will get it to have access to more content but the price here in Australia is expensive at the moment.
