It is a symbol of completing the the hardest part of pve, but I do believe we are going to get a surge of players come the TTK. I would not want to dismiss some new players because of a symbol. Don't forget there are many players that were carried through the raids and skolas, but even so it might be a little comforting seeing another player or two with the emblem on the fireteam.
