So recently i heard some rather disturbing facts. 23% of people on these forums have beaten Crota's on hard.
This leaves a staggering 77% of people who i would not feel comfortable gaming with for end game content.
Not to mention those who haven't downed Skolas
I've been labeled an elitists before and probably will be labeled the same again but I'd rather winners had my back as opposed to well... Losers.
Therefore Laurea Prima will be my gold standard for this year.
Edit: Thanks for all the support. Laurea Prima will be the one downing Oryx first! See all you champions on the Dreadnaught!
Edit: I've had many the conversation about how people have dropped Skolas and they wonder if that qualifies. In my eyes yes. Skolas is the most recent test of skill and therefore a good measurement.
Edit: You don't have to wear the badge to be Fireteam material. Just have it.
Edit: According to all those out there who "just dont care" to fight the bosses. In your world Skolas breaks free. Crota destroys the Earth, or Atheon rips the timeline in half. Why even play then?
Edit: This is not directed at those just picking up the game, as pointed out in the post, I'm disappointed by Year Ones and the general lack of motivation.
Edit: I was asked for an image of the emblem. There it is in all it's glory.

This is why the world needs another great war...to thin the herd of kids like OP.
-
What if you can't be -blam!-ed to get the chests? I suck lmao get out of here kid
-
Link is broken :(
-
Yeah, with attitude like yours, it is no wonder that people don't try.
-
I'm not even all that good and I got it. Some people prolly just don't want to do certain game modes. However, do whatever you wish, it's your game too, so start a clan with your requirements and see who signs up.

I'm making a non-laurea prima emblem fireteam for Oryx. Sign here if you want to join the fun.

Edited by NeoGeorg: 9/13/2015 7:38:10 PMI don't do Raids/Skolas because I don't have friends to play with, and not comfortable with having to find a Fireteam on some LFG site and then having to talk to these strangers, for an activity that likely will require several hours in one sitting. You can call me casual, I'm pretty sure I am, but you know nothing about my skill level. Also, I don't have any Expansions yet, because I knew they were gonna bundle everything for a lower price eventually. So I'm locked out of some required activites anyway. And I'm not alone in that. In my world, some other Guardians took care of the larger bosses. There are millions of Guardians out there, working towards the same goal. ;)

We must carry the kinderguardians. It is the way of destiny. Don't worry, I'll show myself to the door.

Sees OP goes on about end game experience, and hasn't finished raid grimoire Re-equips jade rabbit emblem -totally disregards OP's toxic viewpoint and goes back to playing with cool people(regardless of pointless emblems)-
-
I wonder how many of those getting it had to cheese. I'm fine with not having it to be honest. If you judge my ability to play off of what I placed myself in then go ahead. Not my loss xD
-
I never beat crota cause i got the dlc late and got caught up with real life sht but i beat skolas weekly and did pretty much everything else in the game on its hardest.
-
How to get emblem?
-
I think it's 23% of all players, not 23% of the players on the forum
-
23% huh...that is disturbing considering that Crota is as complex as a tiger strike
-
The emblem means nothing. People could have been carried through all of the more challenging aspects. I myself helped a friend of mine complete skolas last night. He hadn't played for probably 6 months. Crota and atheon hard modes are really easy as 34's.
-
Only 23%?!?!
-
Sign here if you can't wait to get that emblem

I'm a proud Shield and Swordbearer, as well as a Kellslayer and I understand the frustration of running raids with people who literally know nothing about what to do, but I don't think they'll learn any other way unless we teach them.
-
Link an image to this emblem?

Edited by Wulu321: 9/13/2015 6:11:47 PMIm sorry but I haved downed 2 gods, stood down the stare of a kell and stared back. But for help if I dont find golden chests.
-
Do I have enough time to do 26 public events?
-
In a fireteam of 6 there's plenty of room to have 1 or 2 inexperienced, newer players. You really don't need 6 amazing players for either raid and you won't for the King's fall. Sometimes people need a leg up, why deny them that?
-
Finished it as soon as this emblem challenge came out... Pve really doesn't require as much skill as pvp honestly. People that says kdr matters in pve, maybe you are right on some extent. But judging someone's skill just based on their kd is quite narrow-minded. For op, to be a true elitist, instead of getting 5 other skilled players. I would be happy to help out the new players out there. This way we build a helpful community instead of an isolating one. Promoting these kind of elitism is honestly not good for the community, people shouldn't just worry about themselves, remember, how great would it be if someone was there to help you at the beginning of the game? If you didn't get helped, at least let others does, after all, it's just a game. But sayings it's just a game, I guess people can just play it however they want :/. So really can't judge anything here.

I've done everything but public events and golden chests. I'm just too lazy to do it. I only need 12 more public events and six more golden chests and that is it
