Actually you look to be above average at crucible so I'll give you a better answer. Skolas simply wasn't fun for me and the rewards weren't worth the time invested. I didn't beat skolas for the same reason I didn't chase down the necrochasm. House of wolves really pushed me away from Destiny. It was a shitty dlc that wasn't worth my time.
