Time may have been a factor.. Fire team / friend availability never seemed to line up. The 6 of us would raid a lot but some of them had little interest in PoE. Then a few had kids, etc.
I'm not a fan of random lfg, personally. A lot of bad experiences. If anything, it'd be laziness and I didn't see the rewards as being worth the hassle. I'm sure I'll do it eventually but I'm not stressing over an emblem

I hear yah. If you don't like LFG but have a hard time playing with RL friends, check out the100.io Its a site with battle companies of 100 players each, and I've never really had a bad experience with it or the people on there. You can schedule activities and easily find people with similar tastes to play with :)
