Consider that they (Bungie) are trying to appeal to a different demographic. People of the generation that would appreciate this music are typically well established (read disposable income). Kids will buy it because it looks cool and their friends have it. When the kids begging their parents to buy this show the trailers to their parents, a possible connection might be made. Also, Hammer of the Gods jamming in the background as the Titan lets loose was a good fit, whether you'll admit it or not.

It's not bungie that is trying to soak to a different demographic, it's Activision. The people they got were not the people that they were trying to market the game to, they should be focusing on that audience who's attention they have instead, and stop trying to sell it as 'something that plays like a space Cod game'
