I get what you're saying and ultimately you're right. But when you get some old buddies together and play through stuff then that attitude comes out and that's what they're catering too.

But there are far less cringe inducing ways to do it. Its like when you watch E3 and marketing assholes play games co-op on stage and "play the role" taking it very seriously. Remember Farcry 3 and 4 when they did that shit?
