So, if the traveler is so much more massive, how would that effect the gravitational pull between it and Earth?

Space magic comes into play there. Personally I think the gravitational force is tied up in channeling light.

It makes me ponder if Bungie even considered the mass of the Traveler and the effect such a dense object would have on the surrounding objects.
