Your argument is flawed. Both require some sort of skill to be a successful job.
No one will pay to see a mediocre football player, just like no one will support a bad quality streamer.

Edited by BoyMeetsEvil: 8/8/2015 4:26:35 PMWhat skills are you talking about that streamers should have? Most people who watch streamers are kids. It's not that hard to entertain a 12 year old. You just have to sugarcoat everything you say and pretend to be a clown. That mediocre football player is putting a lot of work, time, and dedication to one day make it into the big leagues. The streamer is just sitting on his/her ass entertaining little kids.

With poor social skills, bad humour and not being able to connect with their audience they won't be successful. Your bias view on streamers only relates to a small percentage. And sure a lot of their audience are younger - they're the ones with the most free time mostly. But that doesn't mean its an easy job to do. Teenagers especially can be tough to entertain at times. I could say football is there to entertain drunks at a stadium but that wouldn't make sense would it. Because my generalisation only refers to a small amount thus making it a useless argument.

It's not hard to be funny and entertaining. I'm entertaining people here. Pay me.

Well..that's debatable. Plus I don't get paid until tomorrow soo..

That's fine 😊 Is me being a dick head somewhat entertaining?
