Do you know about the many charity events in the streaming community that [b]raise more more for kid's suffering from cancer than you ever will?[/b] Extra Life is just one example of a charity that was used streaming to generate millions of dollars to help sick children.

Edit: [i]I just remembered No Hands Ken, a streamer who plays games like Diablo 3 and MOBA games and he has had both of his arms amputated. It's utterly inspiring to watch the support and encouragement he receives in the comments not to mention he's able to support himself financially through streaming alone.[/i]
