Some places offer shit internet. But I agree.
-
OP says he can't afford it
-
You know you are comparing a one time investment to a monthly subscription right?
-
Yeah so? An Xbox is the price of a year of good Internet.. Not including gold
-
Really? There is a huge difference between a one time investment and a monthly subscription. Do you have a family? Do you have your own place? Your own car? Do you make enough money on your work to afford a decent internet service and deal with the cost of life? If you do, well good for you, but some people do not make enough money to pay for a good internet service and deal with cost of life. Saving $300 for a one time investment is not hard, but dealing with a monthly subscription for good internet is not as easy. How naive can people be? Not everyone live in a perfect world you know.

Everything you say is true, but expecting everyone to just accept that someone "can't afford good internet" is part of the problem with the self entitled brats in USA society. If someone can't afford good internet then they should not bitch about lag. This is like saying "I can't afford a membership to a country club, but they should let me play there anyway", no, just no.
-
Yeah but expecting someone to afford good internet just because they can afford a $300 console is just wrong. Maybe they can't afford a good interent service but they are paying for one anyways. They don't have the right to complaint, but they sure as hell have the right to play anyways. If you can afford a good internet connection, once again good for you(I'm generalizing here), but don't look down on people who can't. Is not your fault that they can't afford it, but it is not their fault either. People need to understand that not everyone live the same way and that they should respect other people's situations you know.
-
I already said I agree with you, lol. I just see a lot of self entitled people on these forums. Not all people can afford the good things in life, that's unfortunate, but that's life. Everyone does not "deserve" everything, unless they are willing to work for it. People need to make choices, if they are willing to sacrifice for crappy Internet, ok, but I think that money could be spent better. Just my opinion. Why spend money you don't have for a subpar gaming experience only to turn around and complain about it? Seems counterintuitive. If my correlation is not clear, I apologize. Read some of the whiner's posts a little deeper, a lot of them think that they earned things by existing, it's just not true.

yeah but i dont know where you are located, but in ny we get pretty good internet for like 20 bucks a month. thats not a huge bill really. And in reality internet in america is expensive for the type of speed we are offered compared to many other countries.
