I hope not because every time I look, my own connection is red. I'm a legit player, I don't mess with my internet to get an advantage, I just live on a mountainside and only have one internet company to choose from.
Even when it's red I don't seem to be lagging tho.
The only time I'll report someone else is when it is suspiciously laggy, like emptying a shotgun into someone only for it to have zero effect, then I die and they run away.

Nothing to worry about if you're not cheating.

Usually once I notice that I'm lagging I'll leave the game and reset my internet. I don't like screwing other people up if they can't kill me or I'm teleporting all over

Player to player connection. Its not server based as we don't have dedicated servers. It does nothing to reset just an FYI....

My own home connection can slow down sometimes, not just on ps4. It'll be noticeable on computers phones etc. Sometimes when I reset the routers or shut them off for a while, it'll take care of the issue once turned back on. That's all I meant. If I'm chosen for host and have home connection issues, would that not slow everyone else down? Rural life ftw

Not sure how it goes. Possibly, I pay much more attention to it when running trials and raids. Being the sword bearer it is a must I be the host. Connection issues will always effect the team. I suppose the answer is Yes!
