I still cant figure out the [i]balance[/i] between the last update and this one to come.
Bungie took the time to figure out why strikes were taking so long to complete and changed them to fall into a more appropriate time frame and difficulty. Now they turn around here and nerf everything to high-hell to make PvE harder (and in the case of the Ice Breaker, litterally ADD time back into time lengths). As for Gally, we're going to see even [i]more[/i] discrimination in LFG, seeing as it'll take more people with Gallys to match the damage output from prepatch.
All this, interestingly, caused by PvP complaints.
These are common sense problems that have common sense solutions, and yet instead of Bungie thinking things through, the end users continue to get screwed over.
I guess this is why TTK costs so much -blam!-ing money. They had to make up the costs from months of lost work playing ping-pong.
