You dont understand
this nerf is not for balance
They want us to use the taken king extoics
Same with ice breaker
Bungie wants people to spend $40 on the taken king so they can have the same powerful weapons they had before
Why do you think this update is coming out around the taken king and not now?
they just want money and its serously disgusting after this update im selling the game

The problem is this makes zero sense, if it was about getting me to buy the Taken King why not wait to nerf it? If the weapon is still decent with current content after the nerf and I don't buy taken king because of the Ghorn nerf, how would this work for them?

Agreed. Plus nerfing Black Hammer and Ice Breaker was all about forcing players to play longer. Want proof? Here let Bungie tell it... "Currently it is the only Sniper Rifle that is more capable of ending a PvE boss faster than Ice Breaker."
