People should provide entertainment for free. You should only make money if it's super horrible to do and you hate every minute of it.

If someone has 5,000 viewers, it's because they are providing something that people want.
If people CHOOSE to tip the entertainer, that's their choice and doesn't hurt you.
Seems like you're just salty that someone can do what they love and make money doing it.

I agree with OP that the streamers shouldn't beg for the money, but you're right and make a good point. We tip (in America ) for services provided, be it help with luggage, servers, tattoo artists, or strippers. One thing that should also be addressed are the ones that help others only for money. I think that's where there's a lot of grey area. I'm pro capitalism, and any way you can find to support yourself otlr make extra income is good, but that makes it hard on some gamers and can give a false sense of why we all started gaming in the first place to some of the younger guys.

I will agree that straight up asking for money is a practice I look down on. Tipping, I don't mind at all.
