Stop with your bullshit about kids with cancer this and that. My family struggles with fighting cancer and medical bills. I myself am at almost a 70% more of a chance of obtaining colon and/or pancreatic cancer simply from my genes. There is nothing I can do but wait and fear an extreme possibility of getting cancer.
Streamers getting money and cancer have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Before you throw around cancer so liberally why don't learn a thing or two about peoples' struggles. If you honestly think streaming and not helping kids with cancer are related then you're a complete moron beyond any hope or prayer.
People who say shit like this are disgusting human beings. It's vile, crude, and disrespectful to people who actually have these real-life family problems.

Wow... The op was saying ... Instead off throwing your money at some random guy streaming, donate somewhere that's makes a difference, like cancer research, and you respond in this manner... Obviously you didn't read into what was inferred.

My daughter watches some for minecraft, they are at least respectable as they provide something creative, including a whole backstory for their world. Fps streaming... Utterly stupid.

You told me to grow up, how thoughtful. You think you're so wise but still don't even know what the bulk of the op post was saying. Listen here, read the post wholly not selectively. I understood what he said and took offense. The post was mainly about "streamers" not donators. I actually read the whole post not the last half of the last sentence in the first paragraph. I was defensive because I know what I read. The op clearly doesn't actually care about cancer research but is, in reality, attempting to guilt trip people, that's why I took offense. Cancer is not a joke, it's not something to guilt trip people about, and it clearly has nothing to do with streamers. If you can't understand that then you're no better than the op. If he actually cared about cancer research then the post would've been more than a guilt trip and would've actually had some thought. I apologize for hypocritically berating you, I am just very adamant about cancer because it's more than just another disease in my family, please understand that.

I read more into what he was saying than you, what I took from it was Steamers getting paid is dumb. For those that want to pay... At least put your money towards something with meaning. That's what I took from it, granted the op could have worded it more clearly, but his response to me only reinforces that I read into it correctly.

EDIT: yes it is dumb that they get paid, I agree, but entertainment is entertainment, and there is money to be made everywhere. I have admittedly donated to streamers but regret it.

No worries, its nice to see someone step back. I myself I'm looking at good chance of seeing cancer genetically handed to me, the only grandparent I've had not die from cancer was most likely because a heart attack took him fairly young, so I understand your sensitivity to it.
