If you remove the DoT there's no reason to use it. Honestly, all that needs to happen is that if the thorn user dies it cancels the burn. Its not that hard to beat.

Yes there is a reason to use it since it has a faster fire rate than other 3 headshot kill hand cannons

So logically why should it take 2 headshots to kill somebody and have a faster fire rate and same range as a hand cannon that has a slower fire rate, less range and the same fire rate as a scout rifle that takes 4 headshots to kill and the same range, from a purely un objective stand point this makes no sense?

it shouldn't but it's illogical to take the exotic perk off the weapon perk has making it so so the don't can only be applied every 4 seconds so they can't stack it or reduce it's impact.
