Because it is just that Iron Banner and Trials have advantages enabled, and Thorn is one of the guns that's good with advantages enabled. It's not overpowered though. I jave Thorn and use it, and get beaten by Mythoclasts about 80% of the time.
It's just people noticing they get killed by Thorn and being pissed off. Its not more powerful than any other gun and there are.more overpowered guns.

No, it's TTK well exceeds the mythoclast. It is by far the cheapest weapon in the game.
