What's stopping you from using the thorn if it's so good. Do you know how Bungie decides to do weapon balance? They look at the stats... if you use thorn then it adds to the stats for people using thorn. Then when Bungie digs up the stats and realizes say 75% of players level 30 and above are using Thorn in PvP they will inevitably nerf it to get people to use other weapons. If you want it nerfed then put your ego aside and just use it to lose it.
