If E-Light was readily available, it would become the new ascendant mats. Have a ton in the vault after a couple weeks with nothing to spend them on.
Perhaps a temp solution is to buy 3 pieces if armor from Variks (armor core guaranteed from PoE 32) and one exotic shard for ur exotic armor. Boom 34. Now its much easier to do PoE 34 and 35 (which have guaranteed E-Light), plus keep pace with 34s in ToO.
Three weeks to max level is a blessing compared to the grind that was Crota and 32. Its sad when u beat Crota hoping for that big drop of 6-9 shards.

I can understand not really caring about them when you couldn't do anything with them and didn't need any more, but that problem has been fixed with the Speaker. Etheric light could be the same way. If you've got too much, just trade it in for motes or glimmer.
