I don't know why people are complaining, my Thorn can 3 shot people or 2 shot people if i can get down it's aiming right. My spare change despite being a pulse rifle can also 3 shot or two shot people what's the big difference.

The difference is it's a guaranteed two shot kill with high aim assist and RoF, it can still kill you after you outgun the thorn user, it leaves your shields down for 3 seconds longer than any other gun so it makes you vulnerable to the rest of his team and puts you at a huge disadvantage in peek-a-boo gunfights, and the green screen can be disorienting. Thorn just does too much for how good it's base stats are.

It takes a longer time to fire three shots in a single burst (pulse rifle) as opposed to a single shot with Thorn And it kills in those two bursts assuming all six shots are headshots
