I just want to be able to play with a variety of guns. If you want to be serious and win in the crucible, really thorn is the best option.
Don't get me wrong I LOVE my thorn. It is just sad that when I say to myself I want to try out this different gun for a change I immediately get killed by thorn a lot more.
I don't think it should be nerfed, I just think the gun choice in crucible are stale.

Thank you! I think it really just boils down to people wanting to play with what they like to play with.....without feeling like they're handicapping themselves in the process.

Yes. I mean, if I really want to win, why not use the best weapon in crucible. Occasionally I use the hawkmoon (larger maps) but that is not even an option for xbox players. Red death is ok but gets outgunned by all the exotic handcannons. Vex accuracy is not the best and the range is not good either. Suros is long forgotten. My only other loadout that seems to be able to counter thorn is my old red hand IX with hammer forged and a bunch of reload perks on it alongside my trusty plan c. Even then, I often lose do to range. The thorn just has a little bit more range that my red hand cannot do. maybe when I get my queen breakers bow things will be different.

Yup. What scares me though is that it's actually part of the lore that Thorn ruled the Crucible. So Bungie may very well WANT the current meta, which is a scary thought.
