It still kills faster with body shot spam which is sad. You don't even need to be good at headshots just be able to hit your shots. I win 90% of my fights when I use thorn it surely is what I consider a crutch because I have to use it to be on par with other players before skill is factored in. As far as pve goes there are far superior options as far as primary's go and most use exotics in there heavy/secondary anyways. Tldr; thorn needs a nerf to improve diversification and quality of life in terms of gameplay
