Because it can easily be beaten by many other weapons. It is not the gun, it's the capability of the player

At close range, fair enough. But at long range, unless you have a sniper, the thorn will just DoT you to death. Maybe a bit of a range nerf is in order, to stop HC sniping

Is a two shot kill to the head 3 to the body and it doesn't let your regen health or continue the fire fight. It needs a slight nerf probably to the burn

I feel like how powerful this weapon is is overhyped, it is a very strong weapon, yet I believe it is not op as it is not at a stage where it harder to beat than almost any other weapon, however, each to their own

I don't think it's broken op but it's clearly not balanced. No primary weapon should be able to consistently two shot you and that's not even talking about the dot

The last word is also pretty overpowered but doesn't have the range or dot that the thorn does and it takes more skill to be good with it.

I don't agree with this you have to work so much harder with other weapons it's not all skill. Even subpar players can do better than they typically do when they use thorn because it is so user friendly and does so much damage

What? That's actually exactly how it works. There are tangible stats to look at and thorn has the best stats stupid. Not to mention mark of the devourer adding a distinct combat advantage. There is a reason thorns are an epedemic in pvp. You can keep living in your fantasy world and playin under your max potential, and everyone else will keep using the best pvp primary in the game.

Whatever opinion you may have about using your own weapon is OK BY ME I literally do not care, I myself do not use thorn all much I throw it in every now and then.
