If anything I'd like to see Bungie scale back their previous buff
maybe reduce the mag size a bit
Or perhaps increase kick (I think that would be best for a pvp nerf honestly)
Maybe increase reload time...
Damage per shot wasn't the problem before, so it shouldn't be now.
The problem before was that the weapon in PvE was pretty useless. You'd get a couple kills with the small mag, then spend what felt like days reloading.
Those two items from the buff were the two biggest game changers for PvE because the shots per min drastically increased.
Increasing kick would be a small nerf for PvE but pretty substantial for pvp because it would be more difficult to land consecutive shots quickly. With this in mind people will need to take more time between shots therefore increasing the ttk.
I loved the weapon in pvp before the nerf, but now it's a bit crazy.
Biggest fear is Bungie seeing these "nerf this" posts and they just take the almighty nerf cannon a little too far, making my old favorite unviable (just look at all auto rifles, suros in particular)
