ANY weapon can be defeated if you play tactically against it. Even golden gun and rocket launchers. But that doesn't mean it's fine to let people strut around with infinite ammo rockets and GG.
The problem is that thorn allows players to overcome or tie with an opponent who has the advantage in positioning or skill. Note that killing in two headshots isn't 50% faster than killing in three. A 2hsk is TWICE as fast as a 3hsk. And that's not accounting for the fact that Thorn is already in the fastest archetype of handcannons.

Here's the thing: 9/10 Times I beat the thorn with my vex, the one time that i get beaten is at long range, since the bad has bullet travel time.

Yes, but how many of those victories are actually due to Vex being stringer than Thorn rather than the enemy being a significantly worse player? I can't remember the last time I could consistently beat a Thorn user who could actually strafe and aim.

I use radiant dance machines, the thorn user can only hit me once. With the radiant dance machines, I can go a few gun rights in a row without being hit by a single shot, and games where my only deaths are from a final round sniper or from behind.
