At Rank 3 and Rank 5 in Iron Banner, players will have the opportunity to purchase Etheric Light from Lord Shits-on-Lawns. No one knows if you can only purchase one from him at those ranks, or if you can purchase many; but you will be able to purchase it from him in the Iron Banner.
Further proof that Bungie is making it far easier for PvP-centric players to hit end-game content than they are for PvE-centric players...

There's two theories I've heard on how this will work. We all know Etheric Light will be available at IB 3 & 5, but reports differ as to the amount/method you get it. 1) At 3 & 5 you will be able to purchase one (1) Light from Lord Shits-on-Lawns. 2) At 3 & 5 you will be able to purchase up to five (5) Light from him at each rank for 5,000 Glimmer per Etheric Light (25,000 glimmer O.o). That's ten (10) Etheric Light, but you'll have to do some serious Glimmer farming in between IB grinds. We won't know which one it is until tomorrow, but that's a metric ass-load of Glimmer.

Glimmer won't be a problem for me at least. I have over 1000 ascendant materials that I could just exchange for glimmer if I need it. I know I'm not the only one like this either

Ive had max glimmer for a while lol farm exclusion zone for glimmer were the first round of majors come die nefore you kill the last shield guy repeat i make 8000-9000 glimmer every 30 min
