I have 6 etric lights
It's extremely easy to get but that's only because I'm doing trials of Osiris
There should be a equal opportunity for PvE players though

It is inordinately difficult for a PvE player to get Etheric Light compared to a PvP player. I myself will be entering the Iron Banner this Tuesday and for the first time I will be grinding it out with two characters. That's worth four EL, and frankly it's the only way I see myself getting any of it.
