You have been here for a long time, long enough to remember the patrol grinds for materials. We don't even have upgrade bubbles for armor and weapon damage anymore. If anything Destiny is far less grindy than before.

Bit of a stretch to compare farming material vs grinding encounters. But then again most people don't understand the difference between farming and grinding.
-
What's the stretch? You go on patrol for hours hoping to get keys. Before it was necessary to get material for advancement so you had to. Now it's an option if you want to get keys for Queens gear.
-
After 1,2,3...30minutes of farming mats you have something to show for it. After 5 hours of grinding wolf packs you are just as likely to have nothing to show for it.
-
I stand corrected you make a great point. I really wish we would have got keys a reset.
-
I figured that doing the queens bounties each week was supposed to result in a single key. It's how the mechanic was introduced to us. That's something I'm getting really tired of Bungie boarders out and out lying with reveals.
-
They do a good job with misdirection. It sucks I would like yes and no answers please. Their communication is terrible.
-
It's actually gotten to the point where you have to ignore what Bungie says just to find the correct information about Destiny.
-
Yeah I ve found myself not even looking to weekly updates on Thursday anymore. It's a shame, I really like the game but the customer service is terrible.
-
Speaking of news. When was the last Bungie Bounty or whatever the -blam!- they called it?
-
Nope I was wrong that was something else. I can't remember the last time I saw a bounty.
-
Lol, so it does seem to have disappeared.
-
We are having 2 different conversations again. Lol
-
Hah. I think you can still get shards and energies from VoG but GL finding a group. I tried over the weekend to no avail. Just looked at your profile and see your on PSN. This is the common occurrence. I find someone I seem to gel with and their on a different console lol.
-
Yeah I think I asked you before on your LFG or optional matchmaking threads. But we did have a disagreement on Bungie kicking money too the third party sites. Can't agree on everything though.
-
That's amazing memory, lol.
-
There are not to many intelligent post on here so I tend to follow the people that make them. I don't agree with them all the time but at least you make good points and back them up with more than name calling like most.
-
I do my very best to avoid logical fallacies when debating. Ad hominem being the easiest to avoid. It's hard to find people on here that don't immediately write someone off due to one disagreement. You've displayed a maturity level unparalleled on here.
-
Thank you. Sometimes I catch myself falling to a troll level then I end the conversation and block that person. People that expect everyone to share their opinion are plentiful on these forums and as soon as you disagree most of them resort to the name calling, it's silly. It's nice having an adult conversation. I finished early today and needed to kill some time at my desk and you have made that time pass faster. I m wrapping up now and heading home, but I m sure we will talk some more, good day to you.
-
Sure thing. GLHF
-
I think it was Friday during there twitch feeds. They don't always feature that on news either, I ve found it under the Bungie section before. Wasn't to upset about fridays, it was again Triple wreck and I didn't want to get my ass handed to me on twitch.
-
Ah so they are still doing it. I hadn't seen it in so long I thought perhaps it had fallen to the wayside
-
Last one I saw was April 1st, I just searched it. That's just one more thing they won't tell us about. I ve been wandering about shards and energy will we ever need that again? I don't want to trade it all if there is a chance thar we will.

Edited by Vampire Nox: 5/27/2015 6:55:40 PMThat's how it was sold to us. Also in the reveal, DeeJ was in there with 25 Etheric Light that he was "gifted" with to show us how the upgrades would work, but he and the Developer with him then sells the upgrades as if Etheric Light were going to be so common that Guardians would be tripping over the stuff. Neither scenario is even remotely as they described them to be...

Forgot about that. -blam!-ing ridiculous.
