Gaurdians and everything else in this game are much more sophisticated then a bunch of badàss midgets. Destiny would wreck borderlands just because it's "more advanced". But borderlands is the better game. You will never see a sign in destiny that says "beware, invisible àssholes ahead".

  • So because Destiny is more serious it can defeat an enemy that is infinitely more powerful?

  • If your referring to the "higher" damage number in borderlands, that means nothing. It would mean something if you could show me evidence that the damage numbers are on the same scale. Meaning prove to me that a 300 damage weapon is the same as a 300 damage weapon in borderlands. You can't do it. So no, borderlands enemies/universe isn't infinitely more powerful (even if the numbers where on the same scale, it is still a measurable difference. Infinite means unmeasurable). This is solely a speculative, hypothetical situation. Guardians are more educated then vault hunters, they actually have ships, they can float, albeit not forever, they don't fight hicks. Your basically trying to argue that a 5.56 round fired from two different guns will do two completely different amounts of damage even if the barrels are the same length (akin to a m4 and an m416 doing different amounts of damage even thought they both fire the exact same bullet). It really doesn't matter what "stats" they put into a game because they will all still react to the same forces once subjected to the same exact physics. (Which is something else you didn't take into account when arguing damage states, are the physics of the two games the exact same?)

  • Regardless of the damage scale, weapons Borderlands just have more abilities. You think Felwinter's is bad? Try Conference Call. It's not as much a shotgun as it is a way to send swarms of bullets at a target from every direction. Plus, the Vault Hunters' action skills are much more powerful than the guardian supers. The commando turret is a nuke. Zero's invisibility puts the hunters to shame, and allows him to throw kunai that can eat through flesh and metal. Kreig's mutation makes him pretty much indestructible. Borderlands is a PvE only game with no need for PvP balance. This allows the protagonists to be completely overpowered. They don't have as many limits on their abilities as the guardians.

  • You see, here is the problem, you want to take this universe and compare it to some other universe in the first games universe. Let's just compare them in this universe shall we? Let's not look at abilities or guns and let's focus on what matters. No matter how strong you are, if you have no brain, then you are not dangerous. I am saying the guardians would win, because they are smart enough to understand simple concepts like, not setting off a nuke 10 feet away from yourself. See, your vault hunter just killed himself and my guardian is sitting comfortably in orbit right now laughing at how stupid you vault hunter is. It doesn't matter if you have all the power in the entire u overseas if you are too stupid to understand the consequences of using it. Guardians are people who use their minds and vault hunters are just brutes. Let's face it, even you agree if you would brought the gunzerker into this.

  • Except that the vault hunters aren't mindless brutes. You're just pulling stuff out of your ass. The borderlands universe has more fighters and more powerful fighters. You can't give any actual evidence of the Guardians's mental superiority. Detonate a nuke ten feet away? Axton can survive it, so why not? Try to use actual logic instead of just saying "Teh gurdeens wud ween evn doh bordrlands is stroongr." And yes, that is what you sound like.

  • See, here you go again, Axton can survive it. These are people, plain and simple. Radiation will kill people just the same regardless of who they are. If you want to compare it then you have to actually compare it. The perks are more powerful in borderlands, ok, I actually agree with you there. But the problem is, one game you can damage yourself and the other, not always. See where physics comes into play? Hell, if you want to be cheap, be honest, you are. Then a guardian could just hop in his ship and use the weapons that are clearly mounted on it and crush the enemy. Case closed. And while we are on it, yeah, vault hunters just got lucky. Thank you again for proving my point. And listen, you can keep saying what ever you want, it really doesn't matter. Borderlands has the dumbest characters in that universe, hell explosive is an element there, and if you had a brain you would realize what elements really are (chemistry anyone?) and that explosive is just a reaction rate. And also seeing we need to take in the entire universe into count here. We really don't know what the guardians really can do yet so your just gonna have to wait until destiny two come out to bring up the nuke again. Do you even know what the abilities were from borderlands one? There wasn't a conference call in that. Everything you have brought up about borderlands has been in #2. So while you type the next response I want you to do something. Listen very carefully or you might miss it, think about what you are writing, are you thinking? Good. Now think about this, you are arguing with me about a fantasy. Logic doesn't exist in fantasy, neither does reality. So you can come at me with what ever you want, it doesn't matter because you will still be wrong, because you didn't build both games so it's straight up opinion. Not fact jack. One thing you are forgetting is that in both universes, nobody dies. So there you have it, if this was really possible neither would win because neither could actually kill each other.
