If it was a full out war between Guardians and a bus full of strangers with quirks, I am going to say the battle hardened guardians are likely going to win.
But not by a landslide...
There is more diversity in that short bus, which will cause problems for the guardians.

Except that they wouldn't be fighting some strangers on a bus. They'd be fighting armies of robots, planet crushing monsters, hoards of bandits, and 16 warriors who defeated all of the above.

Krieg - Bloodsplosion + Flame of the Firehawk + Melee Grog Nozzle. It wouldn't matter how many guardians there were.
