When you walk into the room I just stay on that side and when he walks over hide behind the crate.

Agreed. I've found it to be the best place, if you're patient playing the hide and seek snipe game that Bungie intended.

This is exactly what I do. The guys I was playing with tried to cheese and both died. One got killed under the ramp in the far left corner of the room and the other ate his own Gjallarhorn on top of the lamps. If not for me, casually chilling behind the door boxes, we would have wiped.
