It isn't cheesing unless you take advantage of a glitch. Using cover isn't a glitch. You aren't off the map, and you can still get hit and die in every cover spot in this strike.
I'd love to see a video of some of these asshats who claim they don't use cover, lol.

It only gives access to fire on one side, so you can't blow up all the feet, but I'd expect Black Hammer would make short work of the tank by the endless supply of precision shots to the already disabled feet. Meanwhile the tank tries firing at you, but keeps hitting the mountain / hill in the middle.

"Cover" where the AI can't hit you, yet you can hit the AI, and if anyone hopped in to drive the AI for a minute you'd be toast [i]is[/i] a glitch.

There's absolutely zero chance that bungie isn't aware of people using that spot and if they thought it was cheating they would have made it so you can't go there therefore it's legit

Of course you can get hit if you're really really stupid. So what. If I were driving a Psion, and you were cowering in the cheesebox, it'd be a wipe in under ten seconds. If the Phalanxes learned to drop down the side of the ramp too, you'd be toast. This means you're exploiting the AI, hence you're cheesing.

Only if I accept your assertion that using "cover" that exploits the AI isn't cheesing. Which I don't, and neither does anyone else. And TBH, neither do you. You cheesed it. You know you cheesed it. Don't pretend you didn't.

There is a highpoint in the very rear of the map that it doesn't appear to me the tank can hit you and you get plenty of opportunity for clear shots at the tank.

I wouldn't call it cover or off the map, but a case where out of the enemy's range and that only goes for the tank. As soon as you come out to kill the three guards, straight ahead on the left. You're not even ascending very much.

You glide up into a rock overhang. Everything shoots at you but once the tank is out you can snipe him with no shots coming back. I don't class it as off the map. It is a cheap way of killing the tank but thats it, everything else can and will shoot back.
