Sadly I have no info on what lies beneath the shell, except that it is some sort of clockwork structure. I chose to be conservative and not attempt at approximating the density of the contents of the shell.

Oh, yea, I talked about this with a guy farther down in the thread, if someone could take the time to calculate the size of the damaged area, I could update the OP to have the mass of the Golden Age Traveler and the mass of the post-collapse Traveler.
