[b]Perk 1[/b]: Reputable; X2 reputation collected from bounties and strikes
[b]Exotic Perk[/b]: The Universalist; divides reputation by 2 and give that amount to each clan. (Exception: all special events will collect 1/4th reputation)
[b]Design:[/b]
[u]Hunter:[/u] a red cloak with a black hood. Subtle honey-comb pattern in white (colors change with shaders)
[u]Size[/u]: roughly the length of the "Brawlers Cloak"
[u]Titan:[/u] Black clasp (part on the belt) with a red fabric and a Subtle white honey-comb pattern in fabric
[u]Size[/u]: about the shape of the crucible marks.
[u]Warlock[/u]: Projections are red, bond/brace portion is Jet-Black with a subtle white Honey-comb pattern
[u]Size[/u]: looks like "Bond of the Consensus"

How about this exotic class items that boost primary damage and have a sub class specific perk like invisibility lasts twice as long

The only reason I chose reputation is cuz I know if manny people who spend weeks grinding one of the factions / vanguard / Crucible reputations. I thought it might be nice to help with that. PS. Those would be a chest or boots.

As it stands now class items do nothing so to take the exotic slot they would have to be powerful but not over powered so that's why I would go sub class specific and use the primary damage so it can fit any build

And so far I haven't seen any thing that does something in favor of reputation. [b][i][u]ALL[/u][/i][/b] the other exotics help with either respawn, reload, or damage (Eg. The apogee simbyote/Mask of the Third Man, deal with extending supers.)
