Exotic Maker. Perk Maker. Sublcass Maker

Edit 7/25: For people having trouble with ideas, here's two themes that may help. Theme #1 Class specific exotics: in the taken king, we're suppose to be getting some. Let's see what you guys can come up with. Theme #2 Toxotics: this is basically an exotic with an amazing perk but it is also hurts you somehow. Not really doing a competition because I'm very inconsistent. Edit 7/24: Glad to see we're getting some traffic going again. I've decided to change what this forum is about. I want it to be a creation outlet for everyone to share their ideas, not just for exotic gear. Hopefully you guys like the change. I'll try and include some examples. Edit 6/11: Wow, I'm surprised that people actually want this forum to stay alive. I'm sorry for being silent for so long so I've responded to a couple of posts. I'll try and respond to anyone else that adds something. Also I'm going to look for the list of exotics that I have from the last competition. I'll post it when I find it. Attributes: Strength Upgrades: melee attack speed, orbs regen melee energy Exotic upgrade: Dancing Joker- the gunslingers throwing knife leaves a dancing after image of the guardian on the spot that it is thrown and lasts 8 seconds. In pve, they take aggro from enemies. In pvp they show up on the radar as enemies.[/spoiler] Striker [spoiler]Name: Rulers Helm Type: Titan helmet Description: When faced against the will of a king, one must ask, "How do I repent?" Design: Golden helm with a crown melted into the top. Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Grenades give more super energy, killing minions of the darkness grant more super energy Exotic Upgrade: Monarch's Wrath- Fist of havoc does more damage and kills with your super grant the titan an armor of light that lasts 5 seconds.[/spoiler] Void walker [spoiler]Name: Abyss Gravity Type: warlock helm Description: Return to me... Design: a grey warlock helm with small void particles surrounding it. Attributes: Intellect, discipline Upgrades: melee hits replenish grenade energy, more super energy from genade kills Exotic Upgrade: Abyss Gravity- vortex grenades and nova bomb have an increased radius for their damaging fields. They also have a strong singularity effect that pulls people in its radius to the the center. [/spoiler] Sun singer [spoiler]Name: Flight of Hermes Type: Warlock boots Description: True freedom is only known to the sky's. Design: Navy blue pants with large golden wings on the outer left and right side of the feet. Attributes: Discipline Upgrades: heavy ammo, speed reload primaries Exotic upgrade: Flight-extends the duration of angel of light. Grants a speed boost and better control while airborne.[/spoiler] Defender [spoiler]Name: Dynamo Luminescent Type: Titan chest Description: Bring forth the light. Design: A dark blue armor piece with an orb of light inside the chest and two small ones on both shoulders. Attributes: Intellect, Discipline Upgrades: bonus special ammo, reload speed for pulse rifles Exotic upgrade: Light Giver-Gift of light(orb gens with force barrier kills), gift of the void(damage to ward dawn gens orbs), and iron harvest(chance for orbs with heavy kills) are free perks. Design: bullets up and down the sleeves with grenades around the shoulder Attributes: Discipline Upgrades:orbs replenish health, melee replenishes grenade energy Exotic upgrade: Specialist- Doubles the amount of clusters from Swarm and Skip grenades. Design: It looks like a bad juju taken hand cannon, but has a gash on each side exposing a core of crystalline light and a hooked handle like Hawkmoon.

    Rekindled Hope 2 round burst exotic pulse rifle An ancient weapon found by Rahool. Originally buried in a grave during the collapse, it has been modified by Banshee-44 to fight the darkness for the second time. "One to the head, and...uhhh... the other one to the head too." Appearance: Looks like an all black Zhalo but is not a bullpup rifle. Also does not have the weird grip on the front where you rest your hand or the handle on the side. Comes with a reflex red dot sight which lines the red dot up with the front post of the iron sights. Stats: Fire rate: 80 (Fire rate in burst is 1800, or .0333 seconds between the first and second round. Burst delay is .20 seconds.) Impact: 15 (20 to the body, 30 to the head) Range: 65 Stability: 35 Reload: 15 Magazine: 30 Handling: 70 Recoil: 100 Aim assist: 70 Kinetic damage Intrinsic perk - "Short, controlled bursts": This weapon fires high damage two round bursts. The recoil of the first round in the burst does not occur until after the second round has been fired. (This results in very high recoil after the burst making it very difficult to shoot at it's max fire rate) Perk 1- "Scoped in": This weapon has an increased effective range while aimed. Radar stays active while aimed. Perk tree- High caliber rounds Fitted stock Custom optics Exotic perk - "Steadied Hands": This weapon has less recoil while either standing still or crouching, and has significantly less recoil while crouching and standing still.

Perks: Increase Melee Attack Speed Grenade hits increase Melee energy Auto Rifle Reloader Machine Gun Reloader Exotic Perk: "Charge of the Flaming Bull" Gives the perk "Suncharge." Suncharge now travels farther and takes less Super energy.

Type: Solar Light Machine gun RoF: 70 Impact: 42 Stability: 50 Range: 25 Reload: 25 Side Perks: Accurized Ballistics Aggressive Ballistics CQB Ballistics First Perk: Persistence Middle Row Perks: Field Scout Perfect Balance Speed Reload Exotic Perk: "Eternal Sun's Blitz" When you kill an enemy with a Precision Kill, it gives off a blinding light which does a DoT, leaving the enemy burning, if they're around the blinding light. Secret Perks: Firefly Explosive Round(though, this is a rare occurrence.) Note: The burning should be tweaked in Crucible, so it's not extremely overpowered.

    • Pulsar Bolt action pulse rifle that fires in 5 round bursts. Impact: 38 (28 to body, 42 to head) Fire rate: 30 (1.45s bolt action delay) Range: 85 Stability: 25 Reload: 30 Magazine: 25 Recoil: 75 Handling: 30 Aim assist: 25 Intrinsic perk: This weapon has a significantly increased range before damage fall off. Radar stays active while aimed. Perk 1: Headseeker Perk tree: -Perfect balance (+10 stability) -QuickDraw -Extended mag (30 rounds) Exotic perk - Precision hits grant stacks of plasma. Plasma stacks decay at a rate of 2 per second after 10 seconds of not hitting an enemy with this weapon (body or precision). Reloading or getting a precision kills erases all stacks of plasma for an effect. Holding stacks also grants effects. 30 stacks is only possible with extended mags. Plasma effects below. Holding stacks: -5: max handling speed -10: max reload speed -15: +15 stability -20: 100 aim assist -25: bolt action speed doubled -28: double damage Reloading with stacks: -10: AOE damage around you (100 in pvp, damage equivalent to remaining ammo in mag in pve.) -25: reload a amazing with double capacity. (25 to 50, or 30 to 60) -30: reload a magazine with a 75 round capacity. Precision kill with stacks: -5: refill 20% of your grenade and melee energy. -15: AOE effect around you (185 damage in pvp, and the equivalent of damage if your mag was full in pve) -30: refills your super meter.

Design: An iridescent purple-blue set of scales that also changes with shader, and white feathered wings along the side Attributes: Intellect Upgrades: Heavy/Special ammo bonus Exotic upgrade: Unbound light, when casting your super, rather than shooting a bow, you untether your light and gain max agility, 20% damage reduction and unlimited jump boosts. The bonus lasts as long as a storm trance with wellspring.

    • This idea takes a turn from normal exotics which have unique perks, and instead changes certain mechanics for the player using them. Hope you guys like it! [u]The Shapeless Void[/u] "Destroy the Darkness with nothing" -Unknown [u]Base Perks[/u]: [u]Void Damage[/u]: All versions of the weapon deal void damage [u]The Shapeless Void[/u]: Fills all weapon slots, but can morph into primary, special and heavy weapons. Configure the weapon by using the D-Pad in your inventory to choose which weapon types to use For example, you could have any primary weapon type you want (scout, auto, pulse, hand cannon), any special type (sniper, fusion, shotgun, sidearm), and any heavy type (sword, rocket, machine gun). The combinations are endless! [u]Ethereal Ammunition[/u]: Cannot pick up heavy ammo. You must obtain it by getting kills with other weapons. Every 10 kills you get, you gain 20% max ammo in your reserve for heavy weapons Perk 1: [u]Mulligan[/u] (Each shot you miss has a chance to return directly to the magazine) [u]Exotic Perks[/u]: There are 3 exotic perks. You may only pick one at a time 1: [u]Unending Assault[/u]: This weapon takes ammo from the reserve, eliminating the need to reload. However, the rate of fire is greatly reduced 2: [u]Annihilate[/u]: This ability replaces your super.       Advanced ASMG Stats Rate of fire: 100 Impact: 2 Range: 18 Stability: 50 Reload: 40 Magazine: 80 Handling: 85 Aim assist: 75 Recoil: 65 Intrinsic perk: Close quarters combat -This weapon has increased accuracy and stability when fired from the hip. This gun becomes more accurate the longer you fire it when shot from the hip. Barrel mods: -Smooth ballistics -Smart drift control -Aggressive ballistics Perk 1: counter balance Perk tree: -Small bore: increased range and stability, smaller magazine and slower reload. -High caliber rounds: increased flinch dealt, slightly slower handling -QuickDraw: this weapon handles unbelievably fast Exotic perk: Advanced mechanics -This weapon fires faster the closer you get to the bottom of the magazine. Scales from 0% at the beginning of the magazine to 10% at the middle of the magazine and 33% at the end of the magazine (900 to 990 to 1200) Unique sight options: This gun has the option to choose between two unique sights. -Red dot VR-3: Low zoom scope that increases handling and keeps radar active while aimed. -Acog SR-7: Medium zoom acog scope that increases range, stability, and aim assist. Highlights enemies. Decreases handling slightly.

      • Pa's Double Barrel Exotic shotgun Stats: Rof:1 Impact:90 (27x12 aimed) (36x24 hipfired with exotic and intrinsic perk) Range:25 Stability: 10 Reload:5 (4 seconds to reload both rounds) (2.5 seconds to reload 1 round) (not effected by reload gauntlets for balance) Magazine: 2 Capacity: 16 rounds Perks: Intrinsic: This weapon has a wider spread when hipfired but also deals more damage when hipfired. Perk 1: Reactive reload. 33% bonus damage for a short time when reloading after a kill. Perk tree: 1.Rifled barrel: +10 range, reload times lengthened by 1 second (5 seconds for both rounds, 3.5 for 1 round) 2. Speed reload: reload speeds increased by .3 seconds (3.7 seconds for both rounds, 2.2 seconds for 1 round) 3. Field scout: (Carry 28 rounds total, pick up 8/9 rounds per ammo drop instead of 5/6) Exotic perk: This weapon fires both shots at once when hipfired. Next reload time decreased by .05 seconds for every pellet that hits a critical spot (up to a 1.2 second reduction)

          The hunting rifle Hunter exclusive exotic primary sniper This weapon is bolt action Stats: Rof: 10 (fire rate is the same as no land beyond but you cannot cancel the bolt action with the reload glitch) Impact: 40 (186 to the body in pvp) Range: 90 Stability: 25 Reload: 40 Magazine: 5 Total ammo held: 25 (5+20) Intrinsic perk: Primary care: This weapon goes in your primary slot Hidden perk: This weapon has armor piercing rounds and high caliber rounds built in Default scope: an acog style scope with medium zoom allowing for peripheral view Barrel mods: Soft ballistics Smooth ballistics CQB ballistics Perk 1: This weapon does 50% more damage on precision hits Perk tree: Custom optics: Increased zoom Precision glass: Decreased zoom Field scout: increases total ammo carried to 30 (25+5) You can select one of the exotic perks below Exotic perk: Precision kills double the speed of bolt actioning the next round and increase aim assist to the maximum for 5 second Precision kills increase damage by 10% for 4 seconds (about 2 seconds after the bolt action)

          The Impalers (gloves) Not class specific "Spikes are pretty cool, right?" Titan visual: Bulky greaves covered in layers of armor and spikes Hunter visual: Light metal with some showing leather, with a row of spikes on the opposite side of the Hunter's arm as it's thumb. Warlock visual: Hooked claws under the shoulder guard, talon fingers and spikes set randomly on a sleeve of hard leather and some metal plating. Also, when you melee a knife pokes out from under the armor/gloves. Intellect: 0 Discipline: 50 Strength: 70 Perks: [b]Passive perks:[/b] -Pointy things (not sure what to call it yet): Replaces your special weapon with a needle gun built into your gauntlets. -Decisive Element: This piece of gear changes elements based on your subclass [b]Perk 1:[/b] -(whatever that perk is called, I'll update it later): Restores grenade energy on melee hit OR -Paramuscle Armature: Increases grenade throw distance [b]Perk 2:[/b] -(whatever that perk is called, I'll update it later): Restores melee energy on grenade hits OR -???
