Destiny is a monumental failure
You cry wolf one too many times, no one will ever purchase a preorder again.
Content was cut for the original game so they can sell it for an extra $15.
There used to be gambling, but that was removed.
There was supposed to be trading, but that was removed.
$500 million dollars for a game with no back story.
Joseph Staten left to take on new creative challenges.

As long as theres fanboys this game will continue to rip people of,it's just actually surprising how many fan boys are out there,this game is repetitive and broken from consumables to PvP,I look forward to other games being released

Other developers with higher ups that have better morals, business ethics, and a bar for standards NOT so low a fat kid can roll over it woulda improved this game. But instead of trail blazing a new generation of gaming paving the way for other developers Bungies executives decided to be JUST like Ea and a lot of other Dev companies.

4 RepliesIt's not the money I care about. It's being lied to by a corporation. I was on my second and last deployment in Afghanistan and towards the end I was sincerely looking forward to seeing my family and playing this game with my friends. Most of my friends stopped playing a month or 2 in. I took a long break up until this dlc. The people at bungie aren't men. They can't even admit they -blam!-ed up. They hide behind their positions and can't take responsibility for this who debacle. Real MEN step up and own their shit. They all seem like a couple of PC left wing nut jobs. And it shows in their game. Games should have a way of separating the best from the mediocre. But this game keeps it liberal. I like the game play and I have fun playing with my friends but if you're better than somebody then you should win and be rewarded accordingly. But no they wanna hand out participation ribbons so nobody's feelings get hurt. Us people here in the real world cut their teeth learning from failures and strive to get better. Let's make a game with real world stipulations. Where the best enjoy spoils the mediocre will never grasp until they improve and earn it. This game is like a welfare system for the people who refuse to work hard. It's almost like these bungie employees sucked at life and everyone had to tell then it was okay they got their ass kicked on the playground. Don't bring your weak shit on the playground. Bring your best. If you fail, learn and drive on. Putting a level cap on a game means the best can't get too far ahead of the worst. It's absolute garbage for better people to not distinguish themselves. This is how life works. So I say to bungie, suck it up buttercups. Own your trash and make it right. Don't tell people it's okay to just participate and do the bare minimim. You could have had it all with this game if you stuck to your promises. But you chose the quick and easy path, as Vader did. It's just a damn shame. P.S. this is not some rant from an angry vet or anything. Hoesntly I'm not mad. I'm just saying what everyone who's sucked the days dick a few times is thinking. Best part is, bungie had a chance to right the ship and start acting like men. You control this game world and have the power and resources to step up and start doing the right thing. 6 RepliesI paid more for a taco plate and an enchilada plate for dinner. We got a lot of stuff for $20. Sure beats 4 dumb maps that nobody has... I used to feed at least $5 a day as 6 year old kid in the Disneyland arcade. And it was 25 cents a game for the good ones! I just best this content outlasts 4 days of ancient gaming, and the taco plate! #great value

4 RepliesIf you're upset about what you'd probably consider $60 loss...then just get over it. Find a new game if you don't agree with what they sold you. The 2 DLC'S are out and the train is just gonna keep moving. Quit letting this fester for yourself and just move on or climb aboard. I can't say I was too happy with bungie when this game first dropped, but I can say that it doesn't seem like they're going to give up on trying to deliver us a phenomenal game.

All my friends quit after TDB. Because of that, I'm not buying HoW. Plus that would make my total spent on Destiny 100$. AND to keep playing later, Ide have to throw a bunch of money away for Comet. No thanks. I prefer games where DLC doesn't interfere with the gameplay if you decide not to buy it. Done with everything Bungie at this point. I'm just mad I've given them 80$ already.

I remember my first beer too. I can't say I'm a fan boy but destiny is all I play. I've spent 100$ and I've played at least 3 times a week since the beta... You can do that math I'm sure. I enjoy the gameplay the story the pvp the combat am the lore and even the community. Of course bungie wants money they're running a business. I agree they are missing some points but they tend to look over these issues and try to cater to our needs. Nobody is being forced to play this game. We play it because it's fun. If your not having fun then play something else ya know? I'll be in the Iron Banner if you need me. Otherwise take your hate elsewhere big guy.

Wow a company who wants my money!!!! Wtf is this world coming to!?!? Thank you for your enlightening insight to this evil world where business are out to make money, I shall now go dig a hole and live in the woods to avoid any companies making a profit off me. Now you do realize you have paid 10$ per day to play this game, less then you spend at McDonald's for lunch and way less then you spend eating out for three meals. Seriously though 10$ a day, and that amount is dropping every time you play and we know you play still unless your so pathetic you only lurk the forums of a game you don't play or want a part of.

Millions are playing and loving it and you call that failure? There is a good amount of things to do in the game. But you can't get past a corporation making money. I guess that rules out every other AAA title that ever comes out for you. Maybe you should stick to the free casual games online? You can play those for free and watch their adds all day. Have fun.
