For all of the differences people in our community can have, we all share on thing in common. We're all on Bungie.net, whether through the website or the app. So, what's your story on how you got here?
Mine is pretty simple. In July 2006, my brother and I went halfsies in on an XBox 360, and the first game we played online was Call of Duty 2. The second, once we figured out how to enable online play for backwards-compatible games, was Halo 2. After playing for about a month, my brother told me about a website that tracked your stats and games. I started checking it out, found it easier to access them if I made an account and linked my gamertag, and I've been here ever since.

Used it here and there for 3/Reach stats, but I just had to make an account for dem bloo flames.

Deej put a gun to me my head and forced me too make an account he kept saying the ninjas are watching don't upset them

I feel like I spam my old stories too much, but for the bump. I came from HIH (High Impact Halo) where we bragged, broke, and bitched about Halo 2, then I came to the source to do the same. Little did I know that coming to the Bungie community is like that scene in that superman movie where the chick gets too close to the technology with that green shit - the plugs and wires start jumping on her and before you know it she's part of the machine.

Started playing Halo in 2011 with Halo: Reach. I fell in love with the franchise and subsequently went on a journey of buying and beating every Halo game in existence by the time Halo 4 came out. Much later....now in 2013-I looked through the Halo 2 booklet included in the box which told me to join the Seventh Collumn at halo.bungie.net, which then directed me to here, discovered the new game Bungie was making-Destiny, joined the site, and then got a Beta code.

I started playing halo 3 about last year and then my bro told me about destiny so I bought it then a friend told me about bungie.net

After purchasing and playing Halo 2 I wanted to see the Leader Boards. Anyone else remember those? Yeah they were eventually taking down due to cheaters and offensive clan names. Anyway, I wanted to see my stats. I thought it was the coolest thing to play a game and see my in-depth stats a few seconds later on B.net, along with any of my friends stats too! After a few months time, I discovered the forums because, I wanted to participate in the Weekly Updates so I made an account. on March 3rd 2005. And here I am 10 years later.

Used the site for Halo stats all the time during H3/Reach, but only made an actual account later for one of those nameplates to show up next to my name in game. Only really became active on the forums shortly after b.next hit about time news of Bungie's new IP was circulating around.

I had initially created a bnet account when Halo 2 came out. I never actually owned the game until after I bought Halo 3 on 360, I would always play it at a friends house, I was a devote PC gamer for a long time. Unfortunately, I forgot my login information to my original account when the time came to link my Halo 3 profile and my Xbox 360. So I had to create a new one, I was a timid at posting on the forums when I first joined I seldom replied to posts, just read the forums actively and still do to this day. I'm not as timid as I was when I first made my bnet account. :] Really enjoy the community around Bungie and now Destiny.
I'm still annoyed with myself for losing that login information and that I changed GTs too often for my Halo stats to be reflected on my bnet profile today. No use crying over spilled milk!
I don't remember why I signed in. All I know is that it had something to do with Halo 3. I never actually used the site until Destiny came out.
-
Made it for Halo stuff.

Made an account after the first Bungie Day cause I wanted that Halo 3 septagon. After that, I really didn't use the site except for a couple times here and there until around the summer before Reach launched. On b.old, I only occasionally posted in threads and mostly looked at Reach and Halo 3. Why am I still here now? Probably because of TFL.

I visited the site back in the Halo 2 days like twice - didn't even know there were forums. Fast forward to Halo 3, my cousin told me you could check your stats online and so I signed up. I think Bungie.net was like the second or third website I ever made an account for too.

Back when I played Halo Reach

Way back in the day I wanted info on halo 2. I saw bungie on the back of my halo box and typed in a bunch of different Web addresses until I stumbled upon this one. I miss my original account. Masterbaiter8 was the name along with my original gamer tag. Good times. Good times.
