So with TTK coming out in less than two days, I have a delimma. I do not have the money right now to get it, (stupid bills!) but I do have some games to trade in. One is advanced warfare which I stopped playing because of destiny. The other is GTA 5 and it's a great game, but I haven't played it that much since destiny. The real issue is I really wanted to finish the single player and I had fun playing the online a few weeks back. In your honest opinion, is TTK worth it? I feel it might be, but will I regret trading in GTA 5 for it. I guess I just need a push to do this. Am I just being too indecisive??

Edited by EctoDread78: 9/14/2015 6:51:56 PMThanks for all the replies guys. I think I will wait until Friday when I get paid to get TTK. Gamestop is running a special if you trade in Destiny towards the purchase of the legendary edition you get $20 credit. So I can keep GTA 5 and trade in COD and another game and still not pay much. Don't get me wrong on not loving Destiny. I wouldn't be a part of this group or listen to the podcasts if I didn't love the game. I just want to play TTK day one, but I think I'll be fine playing the other stuff of Destiny until Friday. Again thanks for the opinions!

@Dread Personally, if I were in your shoes, I'd trade in those games and get TTK. But that's just me. I liked the CoD games, but I guess I just got burned out on them. I never got into GTA V either. I think I could have, but it was too "M" for my wife. :-) I absolutely love destiny. It's a 10 in my book. I haven't played anything else since I got it. Then, I found this amazing community of friends and the enjoyment level was cranked to 11! New content to explore alongside my friends is going to be epic. Again, these are my honest opinions. If you are doubting and there's a chance you will regret it, maybe you shouldn't do it... Be honest with yourself and you'll make the right choice for you. Good luck! :-)

It is completely worth it, but don't get rid of anything you want to keep. It will be here waiting for you when you are ready. I am also sure that there will be plenty of people to play with whenever you get it.

If you feel you will regret not finishing GTA, you should finish it. Come back to Destiny when you want or can. Play for fun and enjoy it. As far as the question, is it worth it? For me it is absolutely worth it. No question. I have never been this excited for an xpac ever. I love this game because it's always fun and I really love the friends I've made. If you miss out on the first month or so of the Taken King, I think you will be fine. When you pick it up you will have a great time even if you wait. Good luck have fun.
