My vote is a notification chime for: - public events - patrol missions - in-game messages - Proximity to hidden loot chests - When your Super is ready

Nice question! Possibly ghost commentary as others have suggested. To add to that, as I was writing, I remembered hearing that there will be an audible cue when you are near loot, be it a treasure chest or some other lootable container. I wouldn't mind hearing that come from between my hands.

Ghost commentary maybe?

Commentary your squad gives out over com link like mission details etc..

Like other people stated, I think the ghost voice would work well there. Seems the most logical utilization to that feature on the controller. I did have an idea though...not necessarily just for the controller. You know how we have Like emotes tagged to the d pad? I thought it would be cool if there was a little library of phrases and gestures our guardians could say and do (if there was a voice customization for our guardian...kinda like in pso2 that would be awesome), that we can tie to the d pad through customizing it swapping out whatever we think we won't use or...accessing them through a shortcut. And it could come out of the controller or on screen Or headset (mic) as an option. Think phrases like... - cover me! - shields low! -For the traveler! Etc. Idk. you get the picture. Lol So if it came out of the controller it kind of adds to the effect of a guardian being on some kinda radio link to communicate regardless of distance from a team mate in the fire team. Or even just a battle cry before we rush some enemies haha "for the traveler!!!!!" I know we can easily communicate with each other through our head sets, but idk I thought if that was included it would be cool. If not, well at least we can still dance. Lol The voice customization would work if our guardians talked often in cut scenes and our entire fire team had distinct differences in their voices it would be cool. Just my thoughts....kinda went off subject there my bad... -

Rarely any games use it and the ones that do use it in a decently pathetic way...for example Infamous. I definitely saw some better uses for it. Just give it time I suppose.

Peter Dinklage is going to be telling you to duck a lot out of it.

Voice of the Ghost =) Like they do for Warframe. I think it could work well.
-
Probably the ghost voice idk lol in warframe it's your mission informer / adviser it's really the only game that uses it.

Edited by Ahhsenberg: 5/8/2014 10:17:39 PMYou mean the controller speaker? If anything, it would probably play audio logs (if they're even in Destiny).
