Getting Started for First Time Raiders

This is an open group so everyone can join and participate in the discussions. Every week a new post will be created for that week’s Raid run(s). If you are a First Time Raider please post your request to run no later than 1 day prior to the scheduled Raid. This will give the Admins time to verify your First Time Raider status and reply back to you. Depending on the number of requests received for a particular run we will determine how many experienced raiders will be accompanying the raiding parties. Initially we are allocating 1 hour to each run from start to finish. This is a general allocation meaning if we are getting close to finishing and need just one more try we will continue. However, if we are 45 minutes in to it and we have not even opened the Vault door then we will pause and resume at a later time. First Time Raider status remains in effect until you have completed the raid. For example, if you begin a raid and for whatever reason we cannot kill Atheon or Crota your FTR status remains and you could opt to run the raid again next week (pending available slots). Our final comment it about maturity and respect. As you might have already gathered there is no age requirement on this. We did not put a “must be 20+” rule, however if you are a teenager please realize that we are not, in fact some of us are grandparents. We are offering our time to help FTRs find similar enjoyment Raiding so if anyone old or young becomes disruptive or simply does not listen to what we are teaching you will be remove from the Party Chat and booted from the raid.
